The Olmi mechanical weeder performs quality work without any risk to the plant. It does two things: it eliminates suckers on the vine stump and eliminates the grass surrounding the plant. The special wire roller is inclined 15° with respect to the row, facilitating the removal of suckers from the stump, resulting in a more delicate operation.
Particularly suitable for hilly areas and for plantations with low stumps, it allows for agile and safe work while protecting the plants. The innovative Happy Plant protection system protects stumps and even young plants from the wire, completely eliminating the risk of damage and injury to the plants.
The towed machine is mounted on the tractor's rear three-point hitch, with two or three hydraulic movements and powered by the tractor's PTO.
The mechanical weeder is available in three sizes based on the width of the rows and plants.
