MAXIMA: Technology dedicated to filling still wines with a low or high vacuum electro-pneumatic system, for maximum protection from contact with oxygen.

Operation:

  • Before contact with the filling valve, gas is injected into the bottle forcing out oxygen. The inert (clean) gas comes from outside (cylinder-generator).
  • Once the gas injection is complete, the piston lifts the bottles and continues to rise until the valve opens.
  • Depending on the operator's settings, the filler can operate at low or high vacuum.
  • At low vacuum (approximately 80 mbar), filling will take place without the levelling liquid returning to the tank. The liquid will remain inside the channel.
  • At high vacuum, the levelling liquid will return to the central distribution system and then back to the filling tank.
  • Regardless of the choice, the wine will still enter a bottle filled with inert gas, minimising contact with oxygen.
  • The design of the filling valve allows the wine to flow into the bottle, touching the walls and rising to the preset level without creating foam or turbulence.

Production capacity from 1,000 to 24,000 bottles per hour.
